ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Art Director | Graphic & Web Designer | Creative Storyteller (and Cat Whisperer 🐾)
After earning my degree in Graphic Design from Northern Michigan University, I traded the Upper Peninsula for Madison, Wisconsin, where I began my career at American TV & Appliance. Starting as a production artist, I worked my way up to Senior Graphic Designer, then Advertising Manager, and ultimately Art Director—leading teams and creating everything from print ads and in-store displays to large-scale campaigns for the Packers and Badgers.
Over the years, my work has stretched from festivals like Brat Fest and Lifest (yes, my art once wrapped a city bus!) to national brands including Fiskars, Duluth Trading Company, and HyCite Enterprises, where I currently serve as Art Director. Whether it’s directing creative teams, managing convention branding for thousands of attendees, or styling food photography for social media, I thrive on blending strategy with creativity to tell stories that stick.
Through my studio, DesJarlais Design, I continue to take on freelance projects in branding, web, print, and social media—always with the same goal: to create designs that connect, inspire, and get results.
At the heart of it all, I love the challenge of transforming ideas into visuals that not only look beautiful, but also make a real impact.
