For more than 25 years, I've created premium digital and print experiences that build brands, move products, and drive revenue.

I directed more than 400 photoshoots and produced weekly circulars that contributed to $180M in annual revenue at American TV & Appliance, while standardizing merchandising for major Wisconsin retailers and sports brands including the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers.

Over the years I've helped shape consumer brands including Fiskars, Duluth Trading Co., Brat Fest, and Royal Prestige—art directing 27 issues of its bilingual luxury-lifestyle magazine and developing creative for large-scale conventions attended by thousands.

​

At HyCite Enterprises, I led creative for Spanish-first campaigns, managed $1M+ budgets, saved $250K annually through vendor negotiations, and supported event branding tied to a $570M revenue milestone.

Today, I run DesJarlais Design, where I combine decades of experience in branding, editorial design, photography, and marketing to help businesses communicate with clarity and style. I still love the challenge of solving problems creatively—and making things people genuinely enjoy seeing.

When I'm not designing, you'll probably find me in my flower garden obsessing over color combinations. The grand scheme of blooms in my flowerbeds is basically a Photoshop palette on steroids—and I love every minute of it.

I teach acrylic painting classes too, but I'm less interested in teaching people how to copy a picture than helping them create something they didn't think they could.

​

I've been fortunate to travel to places like Thailand, China, France, Ireland, England, and throughout Central and South America. Travel has given me a deeper appreciation for beauty, culture, and the many ways people see the world.

But these days, I'm happiest at home making things—whether that's a brand, a painting, or a garden full of flowers.

Graphic design is what I do—but curiosity, creativity, and a love of making things have shaped my life far beyond my career.
